Cooper Rush Leads The Cowboys To A Win In Week 8

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush, starting in place of Dak Prescott (calf), led the Cowboys to a 20-16 win on Sunday Night Football in Week 8. In the first start of his NFL career, Rush completed 24 of his 40 pass attempts for 325 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Rush threw more than he was likely expected to, and while he struggled to move the offense in the first half, he looked quite a bit better in the second half and was able to lead a game-winning drive at the end of the fourth quarter. With Prescott likely to return for Week 8, this was just a spot start for Rush, who does not need to be picked up off of waivers despite the solid fantasy stat line.
