Connor Norby Quiet Since Joining Miami
3 months agoMiami Marlins second base prospect Connor Norby has gone 1-for-10 at the plate with six punchouts since joining the Miami Marlins organization. Norby was the headliner piece that sent left-handed pitcher Trevor Rogers to Baltimore at the deadline. However, at Triple-A Norfolk earlier this summer, the East Carolina product held an excellent .297/.382/.506 line with 16 home runs and 13 stolen bases. Through his brief nine-game taste of the big leagues, Norby posted a .188/.188/.406 slash line. Currently ranked as the number-five best prospect in the Marlins system on MLB.com, he should be in line to receive another look at the big leagues later this summer. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to Norby over the next few weeks, as he will need to improve his production before getting the call.
