Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid finished Friday's 7-4 victory over the Los Angeles Kings with three points, scoring an empty-net goal and registering two even-strength assists. McDavid became the fourth player in franchise history to record 20 three-point playoff games, joining Wayne Gretzky (39), Jari Kurri (26), and Mark Messier (22). It was an impressive bounce-back performance from the Oilers captain after he was held scoreless in Game 2. Edmonton trails in the series 2-1, but McDavid has once again crushed it in the postseason, recording two goals and seven assists in three games.

Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid opened the 2025 postseason with a big four-point effort, but it was not enough to secure a victory against the Los Angeles Kings in Game 1 on Monday night. The Oilers captain registered one goal and three assists in a 6-5 defeat. Edmonton fell behind 4-0 before making the game competitive in the third period. McDavid recorded his sixth postseason four-point game, tying him for seventh on the all-time list. He averaged more than two points per game against the Kings in last year's first-round series, and it seems McDavid might be even more productive this time.

Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid tallied a helper during Wednesday's regular season finale to reach the 100-point mark for the fifth-straight campaign. He would tally the primary assist on Ty Emberson's eventual game-winning goal. Even though McDavid only appeared in 67 games this season, the superstar was able to hit the century mark. This is the eighth time in his career that McDavid has tallied at least 100 points in a single season. He recently missed time due to a lower-body injury but has tallied 10 helpers over his last four games, which suggests he is fully healthy entering the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Through 67 games this season, McDavid has scored 26 goals and added 74 assists. He will look to lead the Oilers to another opening-round victory over the Los Angeles Kings.

Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid (rest) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against the San Jose Sharks. The three-time MVP was rested on Monday against the Los Angeles Kings but will be brought back into the mix for Edmonton's regular-season finale. McDavid is expected to be joined by Jeff Skinner and Connor Brown on the first line. In two contests against the Sharks this season, McDavid has registered a whopping seven points, all via assists. Since the international break, he has finished scoreless only once in 17 appearances, and McDavid will aim to reach the 100-point plateau on Wednesday night. In 66 games this season, he has logged 26 goals and 73 assists.
