Connor McDavid Hits 140 Points For The Season
2 years agoEdmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid became a 140-point scorer Monday with a power-play assist in a 5-4 victory over Arizona. He's the first player to reach the special mark since both Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr did it in 1995-96. In total, there had previously been only nine players in NHL history with a 140-point campaign. McDavid has got there with 60 goals and 80 assists in 74 games. He will now set his sights on 150 points, and McDavid should easily get there, considering his scoring pace of 1.89 points per game.
