7 years agoWinnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck will take the crease for the final two regular season games on Thursday (versus Calgary) and Saturday (versus Chicago). The Jets could potentially take over the top spot in the Central division if they win both games and the Predators lose their final two contests. As a result, the Jets likely felt that the opportunity to take over the top spot in the division exceeds any rest that their starting netminder could receive.
