The Wild had Kirill Kaprizov back in the lineup and ended Hellebuyck's shutout bid early on when Jake Middleton gave the hosts the lead, but the Jets No. 1 went on to make 34 consecutive saves to help his team earn an impressive win. Hellebuyck now shares the all-time record for the fewest games required to reach 15 wins in a season. He's sporting a 15-2-0 record through 17 starts. Among regular starters, Hellebuyck owns the league's best goals-against average with 2.06 and the best save percentage with .929. His impressive form has given the reigning Vezina Trophy winner a chance to finish a second consecutive month with only one loss.
