Colt McCoy Looks Good In First Preseason Game
6 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy had a good first preseason game Thursday. He would throw for two touchdowns while averaging over 10 yards-per-attempt and no interceptions. He also showed the ability to extend plays and even scrambled for a 14-yard gain on his lone rush. He has looked comfortable with the team and its systems so far which aids in his goal to provide a competent backup to new star quarterback Alex Smith. Smith did not play in the game Thursday, allowing McCoy to start.
