2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves placed right-hander Collin McHugh (shoulder) on the 15-day injured list on Thursday with right shoulder inflammation and recalled left-hander Jared Shuster from the minors in a corresponding move. McHugh had thrown 3 2/3 innings out of the bullpen for the Braves in three appearances in the early going, allowing an earned run on four hits while walking three and striking out two. He's not really fantasy relevant in a relief role for Atlanta. Shuster, a 24-year-old left-hander, made his major-league debut last week in a start against the Washington Nationals and struggled by allowing four earned runs on six hits while walking five and striking out one in 4 2/3 innings. There's a good chance he'll make his second start on Friday against the San Diego Padres.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
