Colin Wilson Gets Back In Goal-Scoring Column
6 years agoColorado Avalanche left wing Colin Wilson scored his first goal since Feb. 7 on Saturday, helping the team beat the Blackhawks 4-2. He also picked up an assist on Sven Andrighetto's game-winner. J.T. Compher and Derick Brassard provided the rest of the goals, while Jonathan Toews and Erik Gustafsson were on target for Chicago. Wilson struck on a power play in the second period to end a 13-game goal drought. Following a poor run, Wilson had collected four points in the last three games, taking his tally for the season to 24. He's skating alongside Mikko Rantanen at present, so there could be more to come from him in the upcoming games.
