Cole Kmet Could Post Top-12 TE Numbers in Week 12
2 years agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet will try and provide a safety valve in the Bears passing game in Week 12 against the Jets. It is becoming increasingly more likely that the Bears will sit quarterback Justin Fields to rest his ailing left shoulder for backup Trevor Siemian. Kmet will try and help the less-mobile quarterback in the passing game against a Jets defense that has not allowed a touchdown to a single tight end all season. Kmet has played well over the month, averaging 40.25 receiving yards a game with five touchdowns. Siemian may look to pepper Kmet with targets in this game and the tight end could post top-12 numbers at his position.
