3 years agoCole Hammer had a rough month at Texas. The Texas Longhorns were expected to contend for a national title but the Arizona course hammered his team and him in particular. He made just eight birdies on the week en route to a +15. Hammer expects to remain an amateur for next year at least. After that, the turn to pro will be inevitable. In the meantime, Hammer is trying to gain some of the ten pounds he has lost over the past few weeks. He is a bit tired but can hit the ball a long way at times.
