Cody Latimer Suffers Concussion, Ruled Out
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Cody Latimer (concussion) suffered a concussion in Week 2 against the Bills and was ruled out for the rest of the game. The Giants remaining receivers are Bennie Fowler, Russell Shepard, Cody Core and T.J. Jones with Sterling Shepard (concussion) inactive for the game. That's just plain bad. Latimer caught three of five targets for 30 yards before departing. Even if he's cleared to play in Week 3, he's not on the fantasy radar as anything more than a desperation WR5 in deep leagues. The only attractive fantasy pieces in New York are running back Saquon Barkley and tight end Evan Engram.
