Vegas Golden Knights center Cody Eakin scored a goal in Saturday night's loss to Detroit, his third marker in the last four games, giving him 20 goals on the season. Eakin also has 38 points on the season now, which is only two points away from matching a career high for the 27-year-old forward. His 0.54 points per game rate this season is already a career-high and is largely supported by an 18.3 percent shooting percentage which is wildly above his career 11.6 career shooting percentage. Eakin does see some time on the second power-play unit but has only converted it into four power-play points this season, reinforcing the idea that his success this year is propped up by a high shooting percentage and is not likely to carry over to next season.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
