7 years agoCleveland Indians closer Cody Allen struggled on Sunday, blowing a save and taking a loss. He allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while getting only two outs. It was his first blown save and first loss of the season, but Allen has allowed at least one run in three of his last five games. He's always been a streaky pitcher, and it seems like he's on a downswing for now. He'll almost certainly be fine soon, but there could be another rough outing or two before he puts a string of 10 straight strong outings together or something similar.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
