Clyde Edwards-Helaire To Miss A Few Weeks With MCL Sprain
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) has been diagnosed with an MCL sprain. He is expected to miss a few weeks, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. This is good news for the Chiefs running back as the fear on Sunday night was that he could have sustained a more serious injury. He appeared to be in a great deal of pain after being tackled hard on a third quarter play. He was helped off the field by teammates and instantly ruled out. Darrel Williams and Jerick McKinnon will both see an increased workload over the next few weeks. Williams should be the higher priority for fantasy managers as he's seen 22 carries and 10 targets over the past three weeks. In Week 6, the Chiefs will face the Washington Football Team, who have allowed 114.4 rushing yards per game so far this year.
