Clippers Acquire Kenyon Martin Jr.
1 year agoThe Clippers acquired forward Kenyon Martin Jr. from the Rockets in exchange for two future second-round picks. LA was looking to bolster its rotation, so adding the 22-year-old was a step in the right direction. He appeared in all 82 games for Houston last season, starting 49 of them and averaging 14.4 points and 6.2 rebounds. On paper, Martin figures to get routine minutes from off the bench with the Clippers. However, considering the injury history of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, he may work his way into the first five at some point during the year, which, of course, will improve his fantasy value.
