Clint Frazier To Begin Rehab Assignment Tuesday
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier (eye, head) is set to begin a rehab assignment with Low-A Tampa on Tuesday. Frazier is set for his first game action since June 30, as he was sidelined due to dizziness and vision problems. The 26-year-old hasn't lived up to preseason expectations, slashing .186/.317/.317 with five homers and 65 strikeouts in 183 at-bats. Frazier will likely require several rehab games, given how long he's been out. His best chance at playing time is likely as a platoon with Brett Gardner in center field, given that Joey Gallo and Aaron Judge are entrenched at the corner outfield spots.
