Clint Frazier Optioned To Triple-A
6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier was demoted to Triple-A on Monday. Frazier's undoubtedly frustrating season continues with the move, which is probably not merit-based, since the outfielder has hit to a .350 batting average and a .908 OPS in just 20 at-bats. Unfortunately for Frazier, he has been a victim of circumstance all season, and has even been involved in a lot of trade rumors. Along with his move, the Yankees placed Gary Sanchez (groin) on the disabled list, and recalled catcher Kyle Higashioka and right-handed pitcher Giovanny Gallegos from Triple-A. Frazier's performance this season warrants another call up to the majors, so dynasty players should definitely hold onto the talented 23-year-old.
