Clint Capela Has Monster Double-Double In Blowout Win
6 years agoHouston Rockets center Clint Capela absolutely dominated the San Antonio Spurs bigs on Friday night. He scored a game-high 27 points, on an efficient 12-of-16 shooting and added 12 rebounds, four blocks, one assist, and one steal. After a relatively slow start for Capela, he has looked absolutely dominant in recent weeks. Over his last 10 games, Capela has put up monster averages of 20.5 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.8 blocks-per-game, all while shooting a ridiculous 71.9 percent from the floor. Owners who took Capela are reaping huge rewards, as Capela is a top-25 fantasy player this year. Moreover, there's no reason he can't continue this level of play. He has nobody on the Rockets pushing him for minutes and he’s a favorite target for their all-star duo of Chris Paul and James Harden. Capela will look to dominate the paint on Saturday night against the Chicago Bulls and their rookie center Wendell Carter Jr.
