Clayton Thorson Completes 16 Passes on Thursday

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Clayton Thorson played most of Thursday night's preseason game. He completed 16-of-26 passes for 175 yards. He threw a touchdown and an interception. Thorson also recorded three carries, but lost three yards on the ground. The fifth-rounder out of Northwestern got a chance to show what he could do and looked decent against the Jaguars defense. With two backup quarterbacks out due to injuries, Thorson could end up opening the season as the number two signal caller on the Eagles roster.
