Christian Yelich Hits .365/.437/.712 In June
5 years agoIt was a monster of a month for Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich in June. He started the month with an 18-game hitting streak and went on to compile eight home runs, eight stolen bases, 20 runs and 18 RBI across 26 games. Going into July, Yelich leads the majors in home runs (29), he's second in the majors in OPS (1.129) and he's fifth in the majors in batting average (.328). There really isn't much more that needs to be said about Yelich, who is on pace to crush his numbers from 2018's MVP campaign across the board. It's hard to argue that there's a more valuable fantasy hitter out there not named Mike Trout, and even Trout might be meeting his match with what Yelich has become.
