5 months agoNew York Mets rookie Christian Scott will be recalled from Triple-A Syracuse to start Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. Scott returns to the majors following a stint in the minors where the club's second-ranked prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, awaited the opportunity to return to the bigs. He had five starts with the Mets, where he was (0-2) with a 3.90 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 27 2/3 innings, striking out 25 and walking six. Scott is a solid streaming option for fantasy managers and an excellent choice to bring up in leagues with minor league rosters.
