Los Angeles Angels second base prospect Christian Moore is being promoted to Double-A, according to Baseball America. Moore was selected with the eighth overall pick in this year's draft and is already on his way to the upper levels of the minor leagues. The 21-year-old made just two starts at Single-A and tallied six hits with a double, triple, and a home run. He brought in six runs and scored five times. This past season at Tennessee, the infielder led all Division I schools with 111 total hits and sat with the third most long balls (34). Then, in the College World Series, Moore hit for the cycle in the first game and hit a home run in the series-clinching game to lead the Volunteers to their first championship. Moore is a name to keep a close eye on in all dynasty formats, as he is progressing at an incredible rate. If he continues this pace, a 2025 major league debut is not out of the question.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
