4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) won't take the field for practice Wednesday. McCaffrey is receiving a second opinion on the shoulder he injured late in Week 9 against the Chiefs. The All-Pro back was originally thought to be on the wrong side of questionable for Week 10 against the Buccaneers, and a 'DNP' to start the practice week would support that. Fellow back Mike Davis, who averaged 17.7 PPR points per game in six starts without McCaffrey, would again take the reins to the backfield against Tampa Bay.
