Christian McCaffrey Runs For 108 Yards And A Touchdown
2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey took 26 carries for 108 yards and a touchdown and caught six passes for 30 yards in the Niners' 21-13 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. The 26-year-old had the most rushing attempts he has had all year, and it was the first time he has had over 20 rushes while playing for the 49ers. All the carries helped him achieve his second-straight 100-yard rushing game. He had 76.4% of San Francisco's rushing volume, which greatly exceeds the 40-50% share he had been getting. Deebo Samuel (knee, ankle) was not there to take carries, and rookie RB Jordan Mason had only four carries, Mason's lowest volume in the past four weeks. McCaffrey is a must-start next week against the Washington Commanders, in any case, but he might not get that many opportunities again.
