1 year agoCincinnati Reds first base prospect Christian Encarnacion-Strand went 3-for-4 with a grand slam for the Louisville Bats on Wednesday. The 23-year-old has been on fire in Triple-A, slashing .352/.400/.732 through 33 games. Encarnacion-Strand possesses elite contact and power skills, which should force him into the Reds lineup sooner than later. The top prospect does have some swing and miss in his game with a strikeout rate consistently around 25% throughout his minor-league career, but he possesses tremendous upside.
