Chris Thompson, Paul Richardson Back At Practice
6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (knee, ribs) and wide receiver Paul Richardson (knee, shoulder) both returned to a limited practice on Wednesday after sitting out in Week 7. Thompson ranks second in receiving on the team despite missing a game. Thompson took part in practice last week before being ruled out, so he's no lock to return in Week 8 against the Giants. He doesn't appear close to rejoining the team. The 'Skins could really use Richardson back with Jamison Crowder likely to miss another game, but even then Richardson is a low-ceiling WR4/flex in a stagnant passing offense. If Thompson misses another game, Adrian Peterson will be a strong high-volume RB2 spelled by Kapri Bibbs.
