Chris Paul Dumps 37 Points on Blazers
7 years agoHouston Rockets guard Chris Paul was letting them fly against Portland on Wednesday night. Paul was a rough 13-for-29 from the field and an equally inefficient 3-for-11 from deep, finishing the night with 37 points. He also handed out 11 assists, pulled down seven boards and nabbed away three steals. Since the absence of guard James Harden (hamstring), Paul has seen a dramatic increase in production and is averaging nearly five points more per game. He is also taking more shots, as expected, and is doing it without negatively impacting his field goal percentage. The All-Star is expected to continue to produce at an elevated rate until Harden returns to the lineup so enjoy it while it lasts.
