3 years agoColorado Rockies infielder Chris Owings (thumb) was activated from the 60-day injured list on Tuesday. He's been sidelined since the beginning of April with a sprained thumb. The 29-year-old hit .533 (8-for-15) with six extra-base hits, three RBI, and two stolen bases over seven games before being placed on the injured list. The Rockies infielder is available off the bench for Tuesday's game against the Mariners. Owings is expected to serve in a utility role for the Rockies and is mainly an option in deep-league formats.
