Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Chris Jones isn't present for the team's offseason workout program that started on April 15, according to multiple sources. The 24-year-old is coming off a breakout season in 2018 in which he had 15.5 sacks (third in the NFL), 29 quarterback hurries (fifth in the league) and 40 total tackles. The second-round pick in 2016 is entering a contract year and would like to sign a long-term extension with KC. He's due to make $1.19 million in base salary this year. It would be a surprise if the Chiefs don't eventually reach an extension with Jones, who will be a strong IDP investment this year.--Keith Hernandez
