Chris Godwin Has Interesting Streaming Appeal
10 months agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (knee, personal) will play in Sunday's playoff game against the Detroit Lions despite missing two practices this week. He has stepped up during the second half of the season. In fact, Godwin has registered 50 receiving yards or more in five of his last six games. Throughout most of the first half of the season, Godwin was playing second fiddle to fellow wideout Mike Evans. Now, Godwin is actually getting more involved in the offense. Last week, Godwin hauled in four of his five targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Godwin has surprisingly found the end zone in two of his last three games. He has played well enough lately that the Bucs should continue to look his way during this weekend's game against the Lions.
