Florida Panthers goaltender Chris Driedger became the first goalie in franchise history to record a shutout in the first start of his NHL career on Saturday, stopping 27 shots in a 3-0 win over Nashville. Aleksander Barkov and Anton Stralman, who scored his first two goals for the team, provided the offense. Sergei Bobrovsky has been a huge disappointment this season, so head coach Joel Quenneville tried something different and it worked. Driedger, who was signed as a free agent in the offseason after he was released by Ottawa, might be looking for a few more starts now before Bobrovsky sorts himself out. The Russian has a 9-6-4 record for the season with a 3.48 goals-against average and a .884 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
