6 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis underwent an MRI on his hip on Friday. It remains to be seen if this is a serious injury that could keep Davis out for the start of the season. The left-handed slugger still has plenty of power to spare, but he hit an embarrassing .168 with only 16 home runs and 192 strikeouts in 128 games for the O's in 2018. It seems like ages ago that he slugged 47 home runs in 2015, and he's gone downhill quickly since then. Davis will kill your team batting average if you're chasing power.
