Chris Carson Will Likely See Scoring Opportunities
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson has been a linchpin in their offense so far, and owners should expect him to see at least 15 carries against the Rams on Thursday night. That said, whether he sees more will depend on how his team's defense is doing at stopping the Rams from scoring. If the game is close or Seattle is losing, Carson has a tendency to be lost in the shuffle for a quarter or more. If the game is a blowout, he remains the primary ball-handler. Either way, Carson will likely get a couple of cracks at hitting the end zone early in the game. LA has allowed the second-most rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs so far this season, so expect that Carson will see the rock when Seattle sees the red zone. He'll just have to hope their defense can hold the Rams in return.
