Chris Carson Runs Well In Week 1
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson saw his team keep five running backs on the active roster as insurance for him, and he promptly made everyone look stupid for being worried about him with a strong performance in Week 1. Carson had 16 carries for 91 yards to go with three receptions for 26 yards in the Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts. It's unfortunate that Carson was not able to get a touchdown to really bring his day home, but this was a solid performance from Carson nonetheless. Carson did have a fumble, which was an issue that plagued him at the start of last season. He'll need to get that under control. As we've seen from him over the last few seasons, Carson is going to be a consistent RB2 every week, and it will only take a touchdown to elevate him to the RB1 tier.
