Chris Carson Not Expected To Miss Time
6 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks don't expect running back Chris Carson (finger) to miss any time after he dislocated his index finger in the Week 13 blowout over the 49ers. Carson said the injury required stitches, but he's not concerned that it will keep him out in Week 14 against the Vikings. "He came out fine in the game other than his finger, and it should be OK," head coach Pete Carroll said. "He should be able to play." Carson leads the team with 704 rushing yards and four touchdowns and has a chance to be the team's first 1,000-yard rusher since Marshawn Lynch last did it in 2014. Against a stout Minnesota run defense, Carson will be a low-end RB2 choice for fantasy owners. Rookie Rashaad Penny could see more work again after another good game in Week 13.
