3 years agoChris Buescher starts 18th on Sunday at Atlanta. The first race in 2021 saw him start 17th and finish seventh. Conventional wisdom says that alone is worth a closer look. The problem is that the Roush Fenway Racing driver since Kansas and Darlington (8th and 9th) cannot seem to put two races together. Worse, the inverted weekend start at Pocono gave him the pole two weeks ago. He led six laps then promptly dropped out of the top 20 before finishing 19th. Does he have the build to compete as Buescher did at Charlotte (+19 place differential from 27th to 8th)?
