Chris Buescher Earns Spot In DraftKings Winning Lineup At Pocono
4 months agoOn Sunday afternoon, Chris Buescher finished 11th in the Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway. Heading into the weekend, Buescher was a difficult driver to assess as his results at this track had been mixed. While he did win at this venue back in 2016, he has just two top-10s in the Pennsylvania mountains. Because of these inconsistencies, and given his inability to finish races this season, there was some reservation about what to do with the RFK star at the Tricky Triangle. Despite these concerns, the 31-year-old came through in a major way for the 25.55% that rostered him on DraftKings. Between his place differential, solid finish, 19 lead laps, and 12 fastest laps, Buescher totaled 49.15 DraftKings points, enough to earn him a spot in the featured contest on DraftKings. While he does need to have stronger finishes before we can comfortably target him in sports betting, from the DFS side, he has become a viable option that needs to be considered weekly. Up next for the No. 17 is a trip to the Brickyard as the NASCAR Cup Series returns to the oval at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
