Tennessee Titans tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo is reportedly showing improvement as a blocker and pass-catcher. The 23-year-old showed plenty of potential during his rookie season in 2022. He finished with 32 receptions for 450 yards and three touchdowns in 17 games (eight starts) with Tennessee. The expectation is that he'll see a bigger workload during his second year with the team. He'll be competing with fifth-rounder Josh Whyle for snaps at tight end. This offense should remain run-heavy with Derrick Henry. Despite that, Okonkwo could have some TE1 value heading into next season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo (abdomen) is officially active for the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Houston Texans on Sunday. Okonkwo popped up on this week's injury report after putting in a limited practice on Thursday before sitting out on Friday. The 25-year-old will end up giving it a go in the team's final game of the season. He's been on a decent run of production of late with 22 catches on 28 targets for 182 yards and no touchdowns in the last three games, although that also coincided with Mason Rudolph taking over under center for the Titans. Tennessee is going back to quarterback Will Levis (at least to start) in Week 18, which should give fantasy managers some pause when considering Okonkwo as a TE streamer. He has 52 total catches on the year for 479 yards and only two touchdowns in 16 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo (abdomen) popped up on the Week 18 injury report on Thursday and is now questionable to play on Sunday in the regular-season finale against the division-rival Houston Texans. Okonkwo was limited in Thursday's practice and missed Friday's session, so he should be considered on the wrong side of questionable. The Titans are only playing for draft positioning in the regular-season finale, so there's a good chance they'll hold out any injured players that are questionable like Okonkwo. If the 25-year-old doesn't play this weekend, look for Nick Vannett and Josh Whyle to get some more run at the tight end position for Tennessee. Although Okonkwo started making some noise in recent weeks as a pass-catcher, he was mostly off the fantasy radar in 2024 and will finish with 52 catches for 479 yards and only two TDs in 16 games if he doesn't play in Week 18.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo (abdomen) was added to the injury report after logging a limited practice on Thursday. The 25-year-old was not previously known to have an injury, so his status warrants monitoring as the Titans' Week 18 contest against the Houston Texans draws closer. Okonkwo has never missed a game through nearly three seasons in the NFL. He has come on quite strong lately, catching 22 of 28 targets for 182 yards over his last three games. If active this Sunday, he'll continue to rank as a fringe top-12 fantasy tight end.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo caught five receptions for 42 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, also carrying the ball once for 17 yards on the ground. With seven targets, it was Okonkwo's third straight game leading his team in looks through the air; the rapport with quarterback Mason Rudolph seems as though it's here to stay. While not an especially dazzling performance against a poor Jags defense, it was a solid day for a fantasy tight end, especially on nobody's radar just a month ago. Heading into the final game of the season, Okonkwo has proven to be his QB's favorite option and is faced with a Texans defense allowing the 13th-most fantasy points to tight ends this year.--Ricky Maloney - RotoBaller
