Chase Edmonds Could Be A Sneaky Desperation Play
4 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds has failed to contribute much to the offense the past two weeks. He totaled just 34 yards in the team's Week 3 loss to the Detroit Lions. However, he's still been the team's top pass-catching option out of the backfield this year. He has 11 targets on the year, while the team's No. 1 back Kenyan Drake has just five. With DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) nursing an ankle injury and unlikely to be 100% in Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers, the Cardinals may need other options to step up. Edmonds is a risky play as he has disappointed two straight weeks, but if you're in a bind, he could come through for you as an RB3 or flex in deep PPR leagues.
