4 months agoCleveland Guardians outfield prospect Chase DeLauter (toe) was activated from the 7-day injured list on Saturday, July 27, and was optioned to Double-A Akron. The top prospect in the Cleveland system hit the injured list on June 10 with turf toe and also missed a majority of the start of the campaign due to a broken foot he suffered in May. During his three-game rehab stint in the Rookie League, the 22-year-old tallied two hits with a home run. DeLauter could push for a late-season major league debut to help the Guardians in the stretch run of the season but should remain on the waiver wire in all redraft leagues for the time being.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
