Chase Briscoe (finger) has run the last two races in the NASCAR Cup Series with a broken finger. Briscoe injured the finger on April 6 while racing a dire-late model. He made contact with the wall, which ripped the wheel out of his hand and broke his finger. He was able to convince the team and doctors to let him drive the last two races. The injury did not seem to slow him down, as he finished a season-best fifth in both races. Briscoe went in at 5 am EST on Monday, and the successful surgery was complete by 7:45 am. His wife Marissa sent a message on Twitter, stating, "Chase is out of surgery and all is well, thank you everyone for the prayers. Keep them coming!"--Eric DeWilde
