Chase Briscoe gets a nice 11th starting position on Sunday but the Stewart-Haas Racing driver may have trouble maintaining that position. Briscoe has not performed well on high-wear tire tracks like Atlanta. He dropped into the 30's for a bit before finishing 23rd earlier this year. His starting position then was 24th but the concern is being among the "faster" cars. Briscoe can keep up on road courses and short tracks but longer tracks and longer runs seem to show the No. 14's true colors. Sunday could be another long afternoon on the Atlanta track for Briscoe as he tries to find the speed on those runs. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
