Chase Anderson To Start Saturday
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson (finger) will start against the Braves on Saturday when he comes off the injured list, according to manager Craig Counsell. He'll be taking the rotation spot of Freddy Peralta after he went four innings on Monday against the Phillies and allowed two runs with no walks and five strikeouts. Anderson is ready to return following a rehab assignment with Triple-A San Antonio. The right-hander is 2-0 with a 3.20 ERA in seven outings (two starts), but he'll be extremely risky against Atlanta in his first start back. Counsell mentioned that there's a good chance that Peralta will also pitch on Saturday.
