4 years agoBoston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy (upper body) will miss Tuesday's clash with the Flyers. He logged his usual 24 minutes of action in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to Philadelphia, so it appears that McAvoy's injury isn't very serious, but it's still serious enough to make him miss his first game of the season. The talented rearguard has 22 points for the year in 35 games with 68 shots, 61 blocks and 40 hits.
