Charlie Kolar Hopeful To Return In Week 18
3 months agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (arm) has been designated to return from the injured reserve on Monday. Kolar has missed the last four games after fracturing his forearm in Week 12. The team will evaluate his progress in practice, but Kolar is hopeful to get back on the field this weekend. If active, Kolar will serve as the third tight end for Saturday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Kolar wasn't bringing much to the table before the injury. He has one reception or less in every game besides one this season. He won't offer much fantasy value, but having him would provide depth at the position.

Charlie Kolar A Full-Go On Tuesday
3 months agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) was a full participant during Tuesday's practice session. Kolar was designated to return from the injured reserve on Monday after missing the last four games due to a fractured forearm. The fact Kolar was able to get through a full session on Tuesday is good news ahead of Saturday's game against the Cleveland Browns. The organization is hopeful that Kolar will be available for the regular season finale. There probably won't be much fantasy value from him given he's the third string back, but Kolar is solid depth at the tight end spot.

Charlie Kolar Placed On Injured Reserve
4 months agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (arm) has been placed on the injured reserve on Saturday. As expected, Kolar is going to miss significant time after breaking his arm during last week's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Kolar has a chance to return before the end of the regular season, but we'll wait and see how he progresses. The absence of Kolar won't mean too much for this offense going forward. It should mean a few more snaps for Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews down the stretch of the season, but should only give some a slight uptick in value.

Charlie Kolar To Miss Four Weeks
4 months agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) is expected to miss at least four weeks after breaking his arm on Monday night. Kolar has been an important depth piece in a talented Ravens tight end room. He has recorded nine receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown for the Ravens this season while playing behind Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews. This injury puts more pressure on Likely and Andrews as the team's top two tight ends. The Ravens signed tight end Scotty Washington to their practice squad in a depth move. Kolar's injury does not have a lot of fantasy implications. However, he is one less target for Likely and Andrews to compete within this offense.

Charlie Kolar Finds The End Zone Against Bengals
6 months agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar scored the second touchdown of his career in the overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The third-stringer registered three receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown on four targets. He was the second-most targeted tight end in this game with Mark Andrews getting five and Isaiah Likely getting three. Kolar normally serves as a blocking tight end in big packages, but he had a big part in the passing game in this one. He even had the longest play for the Ravens on a 55-yard catch-and-run. Fantasy managers with stock in any of the Ravens' tight ends will continue to see frustrating usage if Kolar gets thrown into the passing game more often.
