Chargers Defense Loses Steam In Second Half Of Playoff Loss
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers' defense forced five turnovers in just the first half of Saturday's Wild-Card matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but ultimately allowed 31 points in a devastating loss. The Chargers had Trevor Lawrence's number for the first two quarters as they picked off the second-year signal caller four times with three interceptions going to cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. Unfortunately, Lawrence and the Jaguars fought back in the second half, erasing a 20-point deficit and coming out on top to win by one. Overall, Los Angeles' defense left a lot to be desired throughout the 2022-2023 campaign and will hope to improve on all fronts next season.
