Chance Sisco to Avoid Missing Time
7 years agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Chance Sisco avoided any major injuries when he was diagnosed with a facial contusion in Tuesday's loss to the Angels. Not only did Pedro Alvarez's forearm not cause any major damage, but Sisco was available in Wednesday night's loss to the Angels. While Caleb Joseph started behind the plate, the fact that Sisco could've played is great news. Expect him to be back in the starting lineup soon, but keep him on the wire in all leagues until he starts seeing more consistent playing time.

Chance Sisco Released By The Mariners
3 years agoThe Seattle Mariners released catcher Chance Sisco on Saturday. He signed a minor-league contract with Seattle in mid-March with a chance to compete for a roster spot. The 27-year-old went 2-for-9 with a run scored over eight games in Spring Training. He slashed .149/.241/.189 with three doubles and four RBI over 83 plate appearances for Mets/Orioles in 2021. Sisco will look to latch onto another team in need of catching depth.
