Chad Kuhl Picks Up His First Career Save Friday
1 year agoWashington Nationals right-hander Chad Kuhl, who recently moved to the bullpen, earned his first career save on Friday when his team beat the Kansas City Royals 12-10. He recorded the final five outs of the game, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out two. Over seven appearances and five starts, Kuhl owns an 8.06 ERA, 1.79 WHIP, and 18.3% strikeout rate over 25.2 innings. Both Kyle Finnegan and Hunter Harvey pitched in back-to-back contests before Friday, so it wasn't surprising that they got the day off. Kuhl remains irrelevant in fantasy baseball and likely won't factor into many save situations going forward.
