Chad Kuhl Has MRI, Conservative Treatment Plan In Place
6 years agoAccording to Rob Biertempfel, Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Chad Kuhl had an MRI and was diagnosed with a strained right forearm. [Director of Sport Medicine Tom Tomczyk said, "Doctors have recommended a conservative treatment (i.e. no surgery) at this time." Kuhl left after the fourth inning of the June 26 game against the Mets. There doesn't seem to be a timetable on his return, and Elizabeth Bloom wrote, "Kuhl, who continues to work out at PNC Park, is still feeling 'a little soreness' and will not throw on flat ground until he is symptom-free." Kuhl should be dropped in fantasy leagues. There are better and healthier options available.
